SALISBURY — The 28th annual Service Above Self Youth Awards took place in a memorable ceremony on April 16 at the Keppel Auditorium, Catawba College. This year’s event not only honored outstanding youth in the community but also introduced the Melissa M. Robbins Education Scholarship, a collaborative initiative between Rowan County United Way and Rowan Rotary.
