Fargo Moorhead Youth Symphonies Inspires Young Musicians

The Fargo Moorhead Youth Symphonies (FMAYS) is dedicated to enhancing music education for young talents in the community. Under the leadership of Brad Lambrecht, the director of the FMAYS Symphony Orchestra, the organization encourages its members to push their boundaries and strive for excellence. “We challenge the kids to do great things and play some of the greatest classical masterpieces up to the new composers coming up,” Lambrecht stated, highlighting the program's commitment to a diverse repertoire.

The symphonies provide a platform for students to develop their musical skills while fostering a love for performance. Participants engage in rigorous practice and collaborate with fellow musicians, creating an environment that nurtures creativity and teamwork. The FMAYS not only focuses on classical music but also introduces contemporary works, allowing young musicians to connect with a broad spectrum of styles. Through this initiative, the Fargo Moorhead Youth Symphonies plays a crucial role in shaping the future of music education in the region.
