A growing protest movement in India, known as the "Cockroach" campaign, has taken a defiant turn as supporters set up an indefinite camp in New Delhi. The demonstrators, who have occupied a central protest site, say they will not leave until the country's education minister steps down.

The movement, which began online and quickly spread across social media, draws its name from a viral metaphor used by critics to describe what they see as systemic corruption and neglect in the education system.
